Muhittin Abdal was a Bektashi Sufi poet from the Balkans under Ottoman (Turkish) rule. He is said to have lived a long life and traveled extensively.
We haven't been able to find out much more about Muhittin Abdal. We are not certain if this is because not much is known historically about Muhittin Abdal, or simply that not much has been published in English yet.
